Clyde "Heifer" Stuart was a letterman for the Football and Baseball team from 1924 to 1927.
Despite the lack of size, weighed only 130 pounds while playing collegiate football, small even for the 1920’s, he was a great competitor.

Stuart was elected to the Mississippi State Hall of Fame in 1970.
