Bobby Croswell played baseball at Mississippi State from 1968-71.
Drafted by the Atlanta Braves out of high school, Croswell chose to wear the M over S and put together an excellent career. He was named All-SEC Western Division in 1969 and 1970, as well as All-SEC in 1971. He earned Sporting News All-American honors in 1971, helping lead the Bulldogs to their first College World Series appearance. He held the MSU program record for career stolen bases at the time of his graduation.
He was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the second round of the 1971 MLB Draft and went on to play five seasons in the New York Mets organization.
