Public Address Announcer Tryout Interest Form
What are we looking for?
The Mississippi State Athletics Fan Experience Department is looking to add to our selection of Public Address (PA) announcers for home sporting events.
Who are we looking for?
- Applicants must be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds
- Applicants must have familiarity with applicable sports, rules, and general operations
- A strong working knowledge of Mississippi State Athletics’ varsity sports is preferred but not required
- Prior and/or related experience is preferred but not required (i.e. in-arena host, radio broadcaster, sports broadcaster, etc.)
- Applicants must be 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as applicable
- Fill out the interest form below AND
- Upload your submission video (link and instructions at bottom of form)
- Standby for follow-up instructions
- The Mississippi State Athletics Staff will contact you no later than 1 week following the video submission deadline (Friday, July 21, 2023 at 4:00 pm CT)
- Serious applicants may be asked to attend an in-person tryout if selected by the Fan Experience Staff and will be notified accordingly upon review
