Fan Experience Student Internship Questionnaire
GENERAL FALL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the MSU Athletics Fan Experience staff in the planning, development and coordination of marketing, promotional and fan
experience efforts for all 16 sports, for the 2025-26 sports season.
• Assist in managing of the Hail State Rewards Program and Bully’s Kids Club.
• Work sporting events hosted by Mississippi State Athletics.
• Assist in selected Athletics Charitable Requests
• Complete a minimum weekly office hours and assist in carrying out assigned in-office responsibilities.
• Attend scheduled Fan Experience Staff Meetings
• Distribute posters and schedule cards to assigned locations, and check for refills on a bi-weekly basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Genuine interest in athletics and the sport industry
• Ability to manage time commitment and dedicate all required office and event hours
• Maintain a 2.50 GPA or higher
• Excellent oral communication skills, written communication skills, and customer service skills
• Posses a hard-working and dedicated work ethic, passionate demeanor, and a desire to learn.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, keep up with a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Marketing, public relations, advertising, sports studies, sports administration major, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Working knowledge of collegiate sports and NCAA guidelines.
• Potential to serve as an intern for more than one year.
