STARKVILLE, Miss. – Former Bulldog and current Carolina Panther Kyle Love is the latest to be featured on Mississippi State football's #FromStateToSundays digital billboard campaign.
The digital billboards will be on display Sunday in four locations across Charlotte with the Panthers hosting the Arizona Cardinals at noon CT live on FOX:
I-77 West Bound (2)
I-85 East Bound (2)
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Patriots in 2010, Love has been a part of four different NFL franchises over his six-year career. The well-traveled veteran posted career-high numbers in 2011 with 33 tackles while helping New England to a Super Bowl appearance in which Love earned a start. Thus far in 2016, the College Park, Georgia, native has appeared in three games for the Panthers, tallying 6 tackles to accompany 1.5 sacks.
Over the span of his four seasons in the Maroon and White, Love was a key cog in the Bulldogs' defensive front. He appeared in 44 games, tallying 72 tackles with nine of them for loss.
Last weekend, MSU featured Kansas City Chief Chris Jones in five locations across Kansas City. The highly-touted defensive lineman played in Starkville from 2013 to 2015 and was a consistent force on the MSU defensive line that helped the Bulldogs rise to the top spot in the rankings in 2014.
A total of 13 Bulldogs are currently on active NFL rosters. Another two are on injured reserve and five others are on practice squads. All 20 of them played for Dan Mullen at State.
